Haha kanzo, nice one. Your cfg is even more legoish than mine. Actually, my cfg looks like a movie cfg in comparison to yours ^^ PS. I can't see any of your pictures Martin

I'd be interested to know what your basic settings are vib and kanzo - high picmip and vertex lighting Your's looks too simplified for me kanzo - seems that you're losing depth information, though your old settings look a bit better. Vib's looks like how I used to play. Maybe it's time to give it a go again, though I love the look of picmip 1....

I used to have Picmip 1 - Vertex, Nearly all maps walls would be colored dark and Enemies used to glow.. I edited a few settings now I can't get back the epicness Now i have to do Picmip 1, Vertex, Still get around 30-90 fps and play like shit.. Basically, The shite settings lol. Only on some maps and on some occasions i can play High detail with a smooth fps. I'll take a pic of my HUD after the FFAFFT

Doc, what do you mean with 'basic settings' - sentivity, accel etc.? or more like cg_drawgun 0 etc.?

Doc, what do you mean with 'basic settings' - sentivity, accel etc.? or more like cg_drawgun 0 etc. ? Yeah, that was a bit vague wasn't it ? Let's stick with graphics settings for now, so cg_drawgun would qualify. It would be good to know what picmip values use, whether these vertex or lightmap, what resolution, whether you use bloom +etc. What value of r_subdivisions have you got ? Malk has a really interesting setup - low picmip, but using bloom to make everything greyscale while making the player models all glowy. It would also be good to know whether you've got these settings cos you need them for maximum fps, or whether they're soley for gameplay. Someone on irc recently reckoned that having keel/bright as your forceenemymodel choice gets you 90% of the way there and everything else is marginal. I'll post my screen tonight, promise , but I'm currently fiddling about with resolution and considering going back to a higher picmip. <edit> I like swampy and M45ks setups - post settings pls !! </edit>

Alot of my settings I use to get better fps, if I had a decent pc I would use some different settings (vertex, postprocess, colorcorrect etc) but would still have picmip 6 or higher.
Also I use 640x480 since that is the only resolution my crt supports 120hz at.
