Well my name is Adam, I'm kinda old here, because I'm 34 . Played a lot of games since past 15 years. First online game was Duke3D on IPX protocol . Where there was no actually aiming, and nobody was using mouse for FPS game LOL !!!. Then came Q1 and there was new world for online gaming.

HI @ll ! I am one of the older guys too I guess, 34 years of age and I am 100% kraut (for those who dont get the joke: I live in Germany). I started online gaming with Quake3 about 12 years ago, stayed with it ever since (more or less, atm I am also playing the Call of Duty series on clan level). When QL was launched, i found true love again hehe ... preferred gametypes are iFT, iCTF and CTF, FT & CA at times and I really suck at TDM or FFA! CU soon, happy fragging!

Hello everybody, I'm one of the younger guys here, I guess. I'm only 18 years old and come from Poland. My name's Michal - the Polish equivalent of the English Mike/Michael. I usually use the nick vib. It is an abbreviation from the phrase "violence is bad". Unfortunately vib has already been taken by someone, so I had to fall back on vibeus. That's the fusion of vib with the Greek god Zeus. I always kind of liked mythology ; ) My life's around music. I'm a violin player and vocalist, nothing too serious though. Am singing in a semi-pro choir. I like classic music, but also metal. I'm quite jealous at the Italians that we have in here, because I myself would greatly like to be able to speak Italian and understand the words of maestro Pavarotti ^^. I am planning to study medicine though. About my gaming history. Well, I've been playing ET (Enemy Territory) competitively, the successor of RTCW (Return to Castle Wolfenstein) since fall 2007. That was my first FPS and it is nothing alike CS, COD or BF. It can be noted that I don't like those particular games. ET is an old (released in 2003) open source team based, really aim and brain demanding game that is set during the second world war. Both games are using the Quake III engine, so that movement is pretty much identical to what we have here. I've been playing in multiple clans (not great ones though, been always carrying ) and was considered a med+ player at the point when I quit. I started playing QL like two months ago. Completed the Q3 single player shortly after I started playing. I've played Quake 3 4-5 times back when I was 7-8 years old in an Internet cafe. My parents kind of always left me there when we went to that particular bigger city in our vicinity, because I've been told to be pretty much annoying back when I was a child : P Now I'm ready for some Quake here. I am available very often and will play anything: be it TDM, CTF, FT, iTF or even CA ; - ) Cheers

Hello everyone, I'm Lucinda from little Denmark (yes, it is a country!), I am 24 years young and I have been playing quake on-and-off since 2003 or so (very on-and-off...). I even played in a dutch TDM clan at one time - and while that may sound impressive, we were really just a very casual bunch mainly playing for fun and not taking it very seriously (hint: we sucked but didn't care). Freeze tag was my all time favourite game mode back then, and I was ecstatic when they introduced it to quake live! Sadly I was part of a minority on the matter, it seemed, as the FT servers quikcly started to empty after the initial launch, which I'm sure you all already know. But then I decided for the first time ever to check the quake live forums, and I saw clan CHILL! and decided that, if any, then this must be a clan for me ;o) Sooo.. I usually only play CA, and I am for the most part only online in the evenings. I must admit that I prefer regular freeze and am not at all a fan of iFT. The only "insta" I like is regular instagib. But persuasion does tend to work on me. Sometimes... And yes, I'm a gal. And a geek... who needs to get her priorities straight. But don't be fooled by that, I swing a deadly railgun! My quake live nick is Lucinda. Which is a typical story of my life - when I signed up my favourite nick was already taken and I didn't have the patience to come up with a new one, so I just signed up with my name figuring that I could always change it to something more exotic later. That turned out to be a /facepalm since name-changing was not allowed. Whatever. I couldn't be bothered making a new account, so that is the name I'm stuck with. When I am not lost in a computer game of sorts, I spend most of my time with family and friends, decorating, renovating, shopping (mostly for old stuff to renovate), reading or some other creative activity like painting and sowing. I also love writing when I have something to write about. I am a pretty creative person I guess, when I choose to be. Which isn't as often as I'd like *shrug* So yeah, that's me. I may not be a book, but I am almost as open as one. Oh and if you ever want to talk vampires, then I am the one to go to >.<
