Watched the Dead Frontier gameplay and came to a conclusion that game should be pretty monotonous(like Alien Shooter/Crimsonland). Which made me wonder - why should i play THIS instead of Left 4 Dead? Ofcourse L4D isn't that diverse itself, though it delivers sharp overall experience due to first person. Not saying about how much fun could multiplayer generate. Don't get me wrong, i'm not agitating, just felt like saying out my opinion. Speaking of L4D reminded me of good times me and my mates had, while playing it and about couple of videos i saw. Took me some time to find them again, but anyways: youtu.be/PVIfC_-6u28 - never was owned like that, but would like to Should've laughed my ass off And another one, which seems to be more popular =) youtu.be/W1knE20h244 - totally liked that 'DOOR-FREEDOM-NOOB' thing! xD I used to play quite a bit of Dota along with a few friends in a clan back then. Nowadays I play Heroes of newerth, which is a lot like dota and I think actually based on it. Same here, playing 5-man team with my buds. Never had a chance to try out HoN, though original Dota considered more fast-paced and thus more hardcore. Dunno if it's true, though. Having fun anyways) I've mostly been playing Ludo with the kids. Man that game is limited. Could it be played in a strip mode or with some other added depth? Oh definitely, L4D is a super fun game, I play the second one way too much, haha. HoN is quite good, and there are many of the original dota heroes in it (although they have different names and models). And I find it to be quite fast paced, sometimes even too much. It has recently become free to play, so you don't have to spend any money on it if you don't want to. Now why am I still awake, damnit?

Yeah, saw some game footage recently - there was Butcher(Pudge), who looked pretty much similiar to Dota original. If there were no Dota in my life, with proper company, i would deffinately try it out. Looking forward to play Dota 2 now, have you seen it? well isnt L4D a splatter shooter thing? so not even in the same genre as DF... well anyway i got bored of DF just becous it was very monotonous. the fun about it is the marketplace and looting part... and leveling... well its an mmo so you get it xD Well they both have similiar theme, that's why i compared them. Also, they are both good at being monotone)

If the game supports Steam, then yes. You can type the cd-key into steam and it will become tied to your account there. You can still add a game to your steam even if it does not support it, but it will just be added as a shortcut in your steam list, and it won't show all of the regular Steam stuff like time played, screenshots, achievements and it won't automatically update itself. I have now, after you mentioned it (I had no idea they were making a dota 2, that's pretty cool!).

Thanks!
Yeah, actually the guy who was involved in creating the original Dota was employed by Valve and now they're developing Dota 2 on it's own engine. Already gave out a million dollars to the winners of first Dota 2 tournament, which Valve held recently for a promotional purposes. It seems beta will be out by the end of the year.

The Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle www.humblebundle.com/This time they have Frozen Synapse. The game looks GREAT. And you can pay for it whatever you want ($0.01 ->). Going to buy it probably today. Be quick, the offer ends in 13 days. You can have long multiplayer games (as in you send your moves as messages and you can play multiple games at a time and can stop playing a game and come back to it next day or something like that). Looks a good game where you could improve your tactical skills. Let me know if you buy it. And if you pay more than average, you get even more games from a previous bundle. [EDIT] My nick is thkry and I usually hang around in UK 3 server.

just played a game called Bloodline Champions - awesome game i must say! If you like hero-pvp you ought to check it out! It's like a regular MMO pvp battle, but without all that boring endless mob-farming. Basically you have your character and a few skills(four different classes), not sure about any additional equipment yet. Don't know if one on one mode exists, but mostly game is team-based. Featuring matchmaking, ladders, tournaments and all the good things. You have 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5. Combat modes similiar to CTF and TDM. For the sake of pings i play on russian realm, but can make you a company on european ones. Voice comm system built into the game. Reviewwww.bloodlinechampions.com/
