cant players/teams get yellow cards for delaying the match? thought that was the clanbase rules? Nah. Timeouts are fine - up to 3 allowed. But the rules on when the match should start +etc go on for pages. I'll have a closer look at them tomorrow.

another funny thing is the elite gamer of the other team, never saw him before - joined the 2nd and the 3rd map owned everything -- left the clan after this game, very serious It would have indeed been nice if someone speced him and made a recording. Did anyone? This reminds me about the question I had earlier. Why are there many matches played without specs allowed? With more specs on matches, teams and players would be more likely to refrain from cheating in case it exists, I think...

the thing is that you can cheat if you have clanmates specing. you can tell your mates over mumble/vent where the enemy are and stuff like that.

Turb (the referee) was speccing hypnoi and said he wasn't cheating. Apparently he's semi Pro and plays for Russia His movement was outstanding too - he came flying across the map sometimes.

This has got real busy, with two matches coming up : Monday 18th July at 8pm UK time vs YourDestination (YD) clan. They're Polish. Thursday 23rd July at 8pm UK time vs Nice (NC) clan. They're crazy Uhm.. Tomorrow is thursday and it's the 20th today, So wouldn't that make it the 21st? You should just make everyone on the opposing team record a demo too, That way if they wallhacked or trigger botted etc or whatever cheat/hack they were using would appear in their demo, Which would mean when/if they submit their demo to Clanbase they'd be caught out if they did cheat/hack.

I just did not think about it that way... Neutral referee or referees is the only way to go. I now see the reason for why there must be a referee...

Anyone can be a ref - they haven't got very many at the moment. Just apply on the Cup homepage : clanbase.ggl.com/leagueadmin.php?lid=12138btw, we lost 2:0 to NC this evening. They were just too strong for us, tho we did play reasonably well. Every match, we get better

I just did not think about it that way... Neutral referee or referees is the only way to go. I now see the reason for why there must be a referee... Any match can be played without any referee. All players are required to record a demo from any map they play and must keep that demo for at least 1 week. When the opponent team thinks someone is suspicious, they can ask for his demo till 1 week after the match. If that player isnt able to send his demo, the team that lost and asked for the demo will win anyway. Thats why it is so important to record all clanbase matches and keep them for at least 1 week because there will always be some teams that will do anything to win, they might not notice anything about the oppenent being suspicious and then sneaky ask 7 days after their lost match for a demo from a certain player, hoping that he already has thrown away the demos from that match or that he didnt record himself in the first place.
