Ok Mumble works with IE QL plugin now. Webcam mic doesn't seem to be a good idea it is too sensitive. Sorry again for delaying you yesterday.

We just said that we heard your keystrokes and it seemed like your mic was set a bit too sensitive. Using the configuration wizard in mumble you can set a threshold making your mic completely silent until you go over this threshold. It was just a friendly tip from our side. By the way, it was very nice to speak with you! Looking forward to the next mumble session.

I heard there's some problems with my mumble server. If it seems to continue, I can create a new one and share the password with doc.. There's a little problem with the current server (I sort of forgot the admin password)

You're back !
And so is our mumble server this morning. Turtl3 has pointed out the Fragged Nation has a Teamspeak server, so I might investigate that as a back up.

I managed to get my microphone working. Would be great to test if it still lags my laptop (different OS than before).

Voice comms worked great, got to use more often! It was really good yesterday for TDM, especially with Dip telling us what to do Apart from it reducing the QL sound for me, even when people weren't speaking, I didn't notice any problems with the TS3 client at all. None of the lag that I seemed to experience with Mumble. It appears I can fix the sound issuse by tweaking settings and if that's true (can't play otherwise ) I'll look at getting our our TS server. They can be had for less than 20 quid a year, which I'm happy to fork out for if people are going to use it. We can have different channels then too, so BOTH teams can use it

Good to see that things seemed to work out wrt voice comm. I highly recommend to use it, wouldnt play a pcw without it nowadays. I think its a good idea to have our own TS3 server, they are indeed not that expensive.

TS works nice. It was useful on Monday's TDM and nice chat too So we have channel for red. What about blue? Who can create sub-channel? I think we should start using TS regularly. We can learn how to communicate with each other fast and sensibly. Except for the usual safe/unsafe message we can pass info about enemy position and count. Can't imagine proper TDM without TS. For noobs like me TS is the best place to get advices ofc. Let me know if I can be of any help.
