Chill is clearly the best clan on the internetz and it's getting pretty big these days. I see Chill dudes all over QL and now that we're starting to play other clans I reckon it's a good time to introduce some basic rules of conduct when you're toting the Chill tag. So here they are : 1) Don't be a jerk 2) Don't use cheats 3) Don't accuse others of being jerks 4) Don't accuse others of using cheats. The only offence that's going to get you banned from the clan is 2). My interpretation of 1) is pretty relaxed and I haven't seen anyone from Chill doing anything that crosses the line. Other clans can sometimes get a bit too serious for their own good sometimes. hf, y know ? Try not to rise to it if other people do get mouthy. And remember, ID will suspend or ban people that get abusive in in-game chat. qq ^^ 3) and 4). There are a lot of idiots out there and there's no point responding to them. They'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience . If you think someone else is hacking, then spec, follow them and send the demo to ID. You'd be surprised how many people get banned as a result of this - I've had some canned in this way. But there's no point accusing them in game. If you're wrong, then you've just trashed your own rep. If you're right, then you still haven't achieved anything... That's all folks. Don't take this too seriously, just have fun. As you were

I only get mouthy to people on 3 things: 1. They use cheats 2. They only go for me because of personal reasons 3. Because i rage

I only get mouthy to people on 3 things: 1. They use cheats 2. They only go for me because of personal reasons 3. Because i rage If ppl use offensive language, send the demo to ID. I record (almost) every game I play, doesn't slow me down and I don't have a good computer. Write this to console or add to your config: seta cg_autoaction "3" If you don't have a premium / pro, you can send an email to support@quakelive.com. If you have prem / pro, you have the support page. If someone does something offensive or uses cheat, you can then send the demo to ID. Then they might lose their their account. Have seen 99% LG acc guy, sent a video, name and link to the game. He was banned next week. Worked even though I didn't spec him, if it's really clear, it might still work.

Looks like the banhammer for Martin then. Such insubordination will not be tolerated ! I didn't know you were mouthy Prime V You're not abusive tho, just tone down the accusations of hax. Or at least keep em on teamchat ;D That vid is awesome SunTzu. I used to work on Old Street, close to Hoxton and the place was crawling with these people... Must resist urge to use RL in RL.... Swampy - I think I'll need to evaluate your beerbot myself, just to make sure it's legit. Might need a lot of evaluation.

I do not at all admire quitters in team games... Shouldn't the clan code of conduct include something like: - Play all team games as good as you are able to until the end (do not idle in game). - Do not quit any team game you have joined. Personally I never accept friends with a bad loss/quit ratio. Currently my limit on this ratio is 2. Thinking of increasing this to 10. If I did this personal policy change, I would need to remove quite many friends from my friends list.

I'm not a big quitter either, but I want to keep Chill open to pretty much everyone. There's no requirement to put anyone in the clan on your friends list that you don't want to. Don't change the way you play the game on Chill's account
