We've signed up to Season 3 of the House of Quake CTF league and Season 2 of their TDM league. They're both 4v4 competitions and you need to be signed up on their site in order to be eligable : www.houseofquake.com/Then you need to join the ChillZero team too : www.houseofquake.com/teams/view/43CTF matches are played on Sundays at 21 CET, starting on Feb 19th. TDM matches are played on Thursdays, also at 21 CET, starting on Feb 16th The CTF Squad is not yet fully settled, and the TDM squad could certainly use a couple more signups. Don't worry if you can't play every match; I'd like to have a fairly large squad so we can always be sure of fielding a 4 some each week. So post here if you're interested (unless you've already signed up ofc  ) |

I can't join the team, it keeps asking for a password. I was told it was Freeze but that doesn't work for me.

The all new, all singing, all dancing HoQ site appears to be tone deaf and have two left feet. Which sqaud do you want to be in - CTF or TDM , or both ? CTF needs moar defenders ! |

Yeah it suddenly worked after the 10th try or so. I wouldn't mind being in both |

cant join the team either  ... I would like to join the CTF team as base/mid defender, cant say though if I can make it to all matches. |

try retyping it by hand/repasting a few times, cuz it actually might help. this new website of hoq's is acting weird.

Another Big Announcement in another thread ! See if you can spot how much I've copy and pasted : dafu is the -273 CTFteam captain for the current HoQ CTF season. He picks the maps, allocates positions to the squad member and decides the overall tactics, as well as calling the shots in game. I have risen up to the heights of Team Manager, so I'll be responsible for sorting out practice sessions, dealing with league admin +etc +the boring stuff. Obviously a good manager and a good captain take advice from everyone in the team, but I thought it would be helpful to have an official captain who has the final say over all things CTF. Good luck Captain dafu ! Replace Nitrogen with dafu. Replace TDM with CTF |

Normally I'd do it, but I'm not in any of the teams (see you knew there was a reason why you should pick me ) |

Just finished our match against s7ickup gaming. Those lovely lads left us down 2:0 pretty easy. Game setup went a bit rough since our major players were missing and dafu was unable to make his mic to work :\ Also san1ty haven't felt on his game, so i guess it all summed up into those grim results. Our pick was Japanese Castles. Took us full time to finish, yet ended up 8:0. Can't rly judge what went wrong for our team. At least i tried to do best as i could. Our timing was pretty much on, i don't recall them stealing any of our powerups directly. Results: [ Basic][ Extended] Demo: [ my POV] Our opponents picked Ironworks, which went slightly better scorewise. We had couple of long flag stand-offs but failed to protect our FC good enough to score. Also we had most powerups, but haven't rly made much of that advantage. Ended up 3-0 anyway. Results: [ Basic][ Extended] Demo: [ my POV] In the end of the day, i'm mostly positive on how i performed and at the same time a bit clueless on what we've missed and what we could've done better. Still had my fun. As of this i'm signing off now. Night, folks. Sidenote to Martin: can you rename this as CTF-only thread? so it'll have more distinct purpose defined. |
