We're a Quake Live clan for Freeze Tag fans.

Join up to make finding a game easier than it is now. We're not a normal clan in the sense that we don't play as a team and compete against other clans +etc. It's just a way to help people get FT games going by letting them know that there's a bunch of other FT fans logged on and ready to roll - anyone showing the Chill tag is up for a game.

If you've got Chill as your active clan, you're signalling that you're ready to jump into any active FT game. This will make it quicker to get games going - join an empty server and send invites to any Chill members online and we're off !

I see the board is up.. Nice.. and I get first post! Drunk Clan uses proboards and there is an easy to set up chatroom (free) if you ever come to that point. Lets hope things fill up here. It's good to have a place to check in to.

Thought I'd write a bit of a progress report, now that Chill is a month old

It's gone better than I expected. We've got 30 EU / Central Asian members and 10 US / Canadian members. In the evenings, getting a game going is getting easier and quicker. It took a while initially, but over the last couple of weeks it's only taken a few minutes to get a server populated and by the end of the first game we've had people queuing...

Newsflash. I've mucked about with the clan ranks. Mostly this has been demoting people Everyone is a Member, until you compete in one of our scrims. Then you're a Vet for life

I've also promoted Martinheterjag to Clan Officer, on account of him being an all round good egg.

And PrimeV is now the official Chill WebMaster, in charge of sorting out a proper website for us. Props to him and tx too.
